The Skinny on Money Saving Hoosier

Ok, so you're probably like, "what the heck is this blog I ended up on when I'm just trying to buy a textbook, or wisely spend my $73 spring break travel fund or learn how to eat dinner for 31 cents a serving" and I get it. The internet is all directy-redirecty and everyone's trying to make a dime, and so you're probably a little skeptical about this blog that wants you to click links. I get it. It's cool. I'm not offended. I'm an IU alum, and I still living in the Bloomington area. This blog is my pet project. I'm all about saving some money, and I recently started brainstorming how to save some money while also MAKING some money. This is where your brain goes when you're 30 years old, people. So basically, "Money Saving Hoosier" is where and how I'm figuring out how to do that while getting to play around with the things I love the most - books and traveling. I'll be posting tailored deals on books to save you money off the bookstore price. And I'll be posting other cool stuff like travel deals from the Indianapolis airport and who knows what else. We'll see what happens. If I end up making any money, it will be from affiliate marketing, which means if I find you a deal on your book on Amazon, and you click my link and then buy the book, Amazon pays me a small commission of the sales prices, which might be enough to fund my South Walnut Starbucks after work latte once a month.
